Called in late Saturday afternoon and just missed the food service. Only thing left was a Vegan chocolate cake so didn't hold out much hope but what a revelation, ordered a second slice. Coffee spot on as usual. Lovely service the the girl waitress, very friendly and attentive.

Popped in for lunch, our first visit. The service was great, the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was fantastic, fresh and piping hot. Definitely visiting again.
What a lovely venue, the staff are friendly and love a bit of a chat. Nice to see the chef cooking through the hatch as well.
Visited with my family yesterday we needed somewhere we could take our dog in with us and there was an area at the top end of the bar you could sit with them. Overall the place was nicely laid out inside although the seats we were shown to were a little bit worn looking. The two staff members that served us were both pleasant and helpful. We all ordered decaf tea, which came out so early if we'd waited to have it with our meal would have been cold. We ordered the chicken burger with fries and a side salad, and fishcakes and new potatoes. It seemed to take quite a while for the food after the drinks came,probably 20-25mins but it was a big plateful when it did come, tasted lovely and was well worth the money. The place was set up well for Covid with well laid out booths and areas to walk, and the toilets were nice and clean. So all in all definitely worth a second visit.
Great food at a reasonable price. Good place for a quick drink. It can get a little bit too loud inside but it shouldn't be a problem if you're all in high spirits!
