There had been a fire at a nearby barn .The poor farmer had lost all of his hay ,and fireman had told everyone to stay inside as the roof was asbestos resulting in toxic smoke drifting towards Abbotsbury . After arriving by bus ,and a day at the children's farm, the road remained closed so getting back to Weymouth became the fire still burned it was great to find this store open and the lady there so helpful . I got enough in there to sustain my little boy until we got a drive home .It made being stranded ,not such an ordeal .
