Chandni Cottage Reviews | Rating 4,3 out of 5 stars

Chandni Cottage is located in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom on Uttoxeter Rd. Chandni Cottage is rated 4.3 out of 5 in the category indian restaurant in United Kingdom. Set among the lush surrounds of Draycott between Blythe Bridge and Uttoxeter, Chandni Cottage offers a great chance to escape the humdrum of daily city life (it’s only a 10-minute drive from Stoke, after all). Better still, the escape is not just away from the daily routine but one to the cuisine of northwest India, a culinary canon in which the chefs at Chandni Cottage are experts. You can’t miss it if you’re heading towards Draycott from Blythe Bridge – just off the A50 on Uttoxeter Road – and Chandni Cottage is definitely worth a visit for passing lovers of South Asian food. There are loads of well-known Indian classics, lesser known specialties, Pakistani-inspired dishes and a lot more here so it suits a group outing – you can even just go straight for the vegetarian or non-vegetarian set meal to get a taste of it all.

I have just picked up my first takeaway from Chandni Cottage and OMG! Firstly I’d like to say how friendly the family were, we sat and chatted for 10-15 mins- great first impressions of a well ran family business. Then when I got home and opened the bag..... I’d got enough to feed the street! I’d ordered the special offer for 2 and honestly It could of served 3-4 people. (The naan bread was as big as the table lol) Fantastic food and great service, will definitely be making this my go-to Friday night takeout :-)

Excellent restaurant, very covid aware and beautifully decorated. The staff are always excellent when I go, and even have a vegan menu. The food is delicious, which is why I have been a few times now.

Garbage. Bland food. Both curry’s tasted the same despite apparently being different. Both naans bland and way too big. For some reason the breads were quite hot yet the curries and rice barely warm? Ordered at 7:10 for 7:45. Left the restaurant after a further 35 minutes wait. So that’s 1 hour and 10 minutes for something that should have taken 20 minutes according to the wait time when ordering. Was offered a bribe of free drink, refused and told them I’d never be ordering from them again.
