Don’t come here this facility is a joke. My social worker Jessie i had to call her about my discharge every time to see when i leave. - I was a patient here I will NEVER RETURN to this facility! - They don’t let you smoke cigarettes outside - You can’t choose your own food of choice like copper springs east. - The social workers are terrible. They sent me to a homeless shelter instead of anywhere else better. - This place is like a prison the showers are very small, the water is cold, barely comes out. - Nothing but patients talking about drugs all day. -

This place is anxiety producing and does not offer any actual help for those struggling. Staff are rude and cuss and we didn’t do anything but sit in a dark room with nothing but tv to watch for most of the day, and we were yelled at when we went out to ask for water or to use the restroom. 0/5 stars really.

I self admitted for alcohol detoxification/longterm sobriety. I have Medicare and Tricare for Life insurance. I am retired from the federal government and military. I wish that I had read the reviews before I was admitted. The only positives about the hospital was the doctor, the food and a few of the staff. It took 4 hours from the time I arrived to going to my room. The room and bathroom were dirty. Some staff members were very rude. They seemed to be more focused on treating their patients like inmates. As a matter of fact I felt like I was in prison vs a medical treatment facility. There was nothing to do except watch TV or sleep. During the 4 nights there the patients were only allowed one half hour on two of the days. The very great doctor gave the nurse my discharge order at 9:15 a.m and I did not get discharged until about 3:15 pm. I saw the doctor hand the nurse 2 discharge orders, the doctor told me he had given the nurse the order. The nurse later lied when she told another patient being discharged (he was my roommate) that she did not know that the doctor had submitted the orders. Again, had I known that this facility operated in this manner, I would have just tried to deal with the very difficult detox that I went through (blood pressure spiked to 198/100) on my own. I do not recommend Oasis Behavioral Health.

Ive been here twice. Once when I was 13 and again when i was 15. Both of those times were horrible and I would not want anyone that I love to go what I went through. Everything in there is dirty or broken. You sit around doing nothing all day except when you’re going to meals or the art room. It was freezing all the time and I didn’t have access to warm clothes. They never wanted to give me blankets either. The “therapy” is a joke, if anything, the few people i met in there got me through that hell. Please be careful and go somewhere else.
