I am from NY and know what real Dominican food from Harlem tastes like (and my daughters father is Dominican so I've had his mother's cooking as well) and I have to say the food here is absolutely terrific! The food is seasoned to perfection and while I'm still exploring the menu I haven't had anything that I disliked. As a professional cook myself I appreciate the consistency...that says alot. My only gripe is the amount of tostones you get for the price..a few more pieces would definitely be more cost effective; other than that if you haven't come here yet...HURRY UP WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR AND DEPRIVING YOUR TASTE BUDS? Now that I wrote all this I think I'll go place an order...think I'll try something different tonight.

Excellent!! It was like being in Dominican Republic. Everything was to die for. Server Alex was great also. I wish they have a place like one like this one in Tucson.

Food was absolutely delicious. My only complaint was that it took 2 hours to get our food from the time that we arrived. It was valentine's day so they were super busy and we had a large group but that was a bit crazy especially since we were all starving when we arrived. We arrived at 6pm and didn't leave until 9pm.

This is a must try. Delicious flavors down to the side salsas they were so tasty. Husband and I are not Dominican so we arent able to ensure they are authentic dominican flavors but nonetheless we loved them. The grilled chicken with rice and beans had so much flavor especially the sauteed veggies they add on top. My husband loved the Mofongo. It was a bit of a wait but worth it and staff were all so nice to us. Will be back

The food was good. We went on a Wednesday evening around 6 or so. Although the food was good, some of the meat was over cooked. However what really pushed me to knock off two stars is the wait. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food. Only four dishes. That was what was most frustrating. Food I give a 7/10.
