East Valley Internal medicine is a joke. Im not talking about Walmer as much as their office. You seldom get a live voice, and when you do, you get transferred to voice mail. This office FORCES appointments to get typical refills. Then, the doctor refilling the script \may\ spend as much as a minute with you. But they get their \billing\ for the \appointment\ If you're looking for a new doctor, or practice, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. I am a former patient. So happy I went elsewhere.

Dr Walmer has been a great doctor for me. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I have been with him for over ten years. I benefited a lot by his medical care. Ron

When you press 9 you get the rudest lady possible, extremely unprofessional. I work in a medical office looking for Medical RECORDS she transferred me to the MAs voicemail 4 times.... Why not medical records?? Then to leave a vm for a stat request?? Extremely unprofessional. I asked to speak with a supervisor instead of trasferring me like she has been doing..\shes out of town\ long story short I would never refer patients to this practice. STAT means STAT

My mother-in-law is 95 years old and has been a patient for about 8 years. When she had a difficult living situation and was forced to move almost immediately from AZ to NC, in her state of stress, confusion, and very emotionally upset, she left her blood pressure pills behind. The people who evicted her said they could not find them. She has been without them for several days, she has no local insurance for another week and Dr. Mark Walmer refuses to return our calls. You cannot reach a human - only a recording. All we ask is that he call in a prescription to an NC pharmacy. Even if for just 2 weeks until the insurance is changed from AZ to NC. He has several locations and clearly no concern for the health of his patients. As with so much today, I guess it is all about the money.
