Food is always good. Their wide selection means there is something to please everyone on the family. On our last visit we tried the spin bread, which was delicious. My wife and I shared the street tacos. Lots of food, which meant leftovers. The salsas had great flavor too, my favorite was the pineapple jicima.

We stopped at Champps Americana, Brookfield for dinner on Friday (10/16). We've been to this Champps location many times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service - this visit was no different. Champps has a modern, open concept sports bar and grill vibe. We had made reservations for 5:45P and arrived a little late - no problem. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive. The menu is pretty big with good variety. The food was quick to come out and very good: Fried Cheese Curds to start, Optimal Prime Melt w/ Blue Cheese Potato Salad (a great alternative here if you're a little tired of fries), Three Cheese Pot Roast Melt w/ Fries, Brunch Burger (no Mushrooms no Tomato) w/ Fries. The tap beer list was extensive albeit a little heavy on hazy / NEIPAs. Something we noticed about Champps is that the service staff seems to work well as a team. Nearly every service staff member seemed to at least glance at our party as they passed by carrying out their other duties. Empty glasses, used plates and other serviceware was removed from our table seemingly immediately - that was impressive. If you're looking for an up-scale sports bar and grill dining expierence, Champps has it dialed-in. You won't be disappointed and we'll definitely be back to try more of their menu choices.

Yo... Their menu and food/drink presentation are HIGHLY underrated and, I feel like I'm telling a best-kept secret... But their Bourbon list is OhEmGee. **Blantons, anyone?**
