Perfect place to come after a long hike! Great soul food (we had cheese fondue with vegetarian sides) and nice service. A bit pricey but worth it!

The onion soup is the best that I have had in Chamonix and that is saying something. The service was incredibly friendly, warm and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The desserts are also not to be missed. In a nice location in town, close to almost everything else while being a bit away from the hustle and bustle.

Whilst service and the general experience at this restaurant provided an ample base for a 5 star review, this barbecue grill which we paid for did not deliver the flavour and taste which we had been anticipating for months before our visit. We found it to be an average meal but we will not be rushing to return due to the high rising hot stone grills available in Chamonix! We ordered the fondue with mushrooms and it was delicious. The decor is very cozy and service very attentive but giving you space. I just can't get used to the Chamonix prices!!

One of the best places for French Onion Soup. Lots of cheese, so much soup and unlimited bread. Staff are extremely attentive and polite (even to us much loved English people). Beer was cold and house red was spot on. It is a nice, touristy place but they do a great job a kinda keeping it reasonable for its location. For a soup and a beer, it's one of my favourites.

First and foremost, this restaurant is absolutely NOT spacing tables for COVID-related concerns. The table next to ours was \u003c.3m away. My elbow kept almost hitting the man next to me. So, when I leave a dessert uneaten, you know something’s gone wrong. The fondue here was extremely runny and never got more substance. It was like separated, runny eggs the whole time. And, while the onion soup was quite good, the portion was pretty small and there was barely any cheese. Finally, the chocolate mousse tasted like fridge. I’m not sure how long it had been in there, but my palette says \u003e1 day. In all, I would not go back. I’d recommend making the effort to go to the edge of town (or even the next village!) and have fondue somewhere you can actually see the mountains.

The perfect French ski town Raclette restaurant. The food and decor was spot on and just right. The only downside was that we had to deal with one rude member of staff who did her best to be unhelpful. Our meal was so much better once she moved on.

I agree with the others. This is the definitive fondue place to get a comprehensive of Savoyard fare. Great service, reasonable prices for what is served, and great selection of pairing wines. I recommend the Sancerre with the ham and potato fondue if dining alone. Also the Mt/ Blanc desert was very satisfying!
