Tasty food and good wine... but quite unclear concerning prices. We had a tasty meat and cheese platter and some wines... a bit overpriced although and the waiter quickly took the tab away to avoid discussion....

Fantastic meat, it was so good. Probably one of the best I had in my life. We had a great experience.

We decided to try out this wine bar in the center of the town.We asked some recommendations on the wine as we are no expert and it was spot on. The experience itself was just perfect the wine and the food were incredible, the staff was super friendly regardless of what other review say about this place, you should try it out by yourself.

Everything I wanted France to be all in one place. Seriously, everything was amazing.

Traditional tapas style bar in central Chamonix. We had croque monsieur (with truffles), celeriac with goats cheese, lasagne (a must after the slopes), some kind of local meat dish and four glasses of good wine. All come to about 100. Popular with tourists and locals, a friendly place. Good accessibility in terms of entrance, not sure about the toilets. Mostly just one member of staff flying around handling everything very well. I’d go back.

If you are not French or local expect the worst treatment. We sat next to a French speaking couple and they treated them like kings, placing everything in front of them with care. They practically tossed the utensils to us without saying anything. In terms of the food, the quality is amazing and the price is very reasonable, HOWEVER the listed prices on meats refer to takeaway, if you want it cooked there you pay more, which makes sense of course but no one bothered to tell us. So to summarize, the great quality of the food was counterbalanced by the terrible treatment and mack of hospitality, as is the case with every place in Chamonix if you are not French. Highly recommended for good meat but don’t let them trick you
