Endroit magnifique, nous avons eu l'occasion de voir cette vue imprenable. L'architecture est splendide The chateau, gardens and grounds are magic. One could easily spend a whole day here, learning the history, picnicking, hiring a bike and going for a ride or hiring a boat, finding time also for an apéro or lunch. The history behind this chateaux and its architecture is simply amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Massive. Nice and neat road from Orléans to Chambord. Wonderful spiral staircase, nice ancient collection, wonderful architecture all through the castle. Cost - 14.5 for entrance to castle and gardens. For horse show the price increases. Enjoy .

It is in my opinion the most beautiful Chateau. I love this place. So many things to see! So I recommend to come first in the morning and take your time to let yourself travel in time.

I can describe it with one word. Magnificent..The best tour is with a guide. Mandatory comfortable shoes.

We visited the chateau during our bike trip around the area, there were already to many tourists and the distances were not kept so we preferred not to go inside. We enjoyed the outside views though.
