I am new to Indian food and wasn’t sure if I would like it or not but I am so glad I tried it! The food here is absolutely phenomenal!! So so good. I can’t wait to come back and eat here again. The butter chicken was 10/10 and the chicken byriani was delicious. Also, the service was really good and the staff were all so nice. I highly recommend coming here.

This review is for takeout only. We ordered dinner for delivery at 8:10 on a Saturday night. Delivery was free but we didn’t get the food until 9:35. Had we known it would’ve taken that long, we would’ve just picked it up ourselves. Here’s what we got: - Plain Naan (2.99): pretty plain, as advertised - Mixed Appetizer Platter (Vegetable Samosa, Chicken Samosa, Vegetable Pakora) (4.99): the chicken samosa was better than the vegetable samosa; the vegetable pakora tasted more fried than vegetable-y - Ponir Tikka Masala (12.99): very good - Ponir Coconut Jhol (11.99): very good, sweet, with coconut flakes I’m giving Deshi 4 stars because the delivery took so long (the delivery service is in-house, not a third party company). We would get the tikka masala and the coconut jhol again.

Consistently incredible food, authentic flavors and kind faces. Although he has a small space, the owner compensates with his massive heart and warm smile. The food tastes fresh and flavorful, as if there is a garden inside their kitchen! The Chicken Korma is sweet, savory and has perfect sauce to meat ratio. The chicken is tender, almost falls apart in your mouth. This owner and his restaurant are a small gem of Buford Hwy. I cannot wait to see him expand and continue to spread his recipes and kindness across Atlanta.

I’m not one who writes a lot of reviews but when the service is this bad, I feel compelled to write one. When we walked in to the restaurant the waiter was praying, so we politely waited for him to finish. But after he was done, he just walked inside without so much as acknowledging our presence and returned after what seemed like an eternity, that too without a smile to greet us or simply a sorry for making us wait that long. We would have felt somewhat better if at least the food was good, but it tasted nothing like Bangladeshi cuisine, rather a weird mixture of Indian, Bengali and God-knows what.

Will totally recommend trying this restaurant It’s cheap It’s delicious The service is great They work till late Loved the lamb curry and butter makhni pulao You will get a free dish from uber eats pickup if you are picking up The owner is the most helpful and sweet guy will definitely visit again when I am in this area
