This is one of these places worth a visit for many reasons. Yes, it's a great place to swim (even in winter since the pool is heated), but it's also a monument. You have to see it through the eyes of the Soviet Era. Grandiose, full of granite columns and (probably) marble. This is also a great place to hang out. Sporty, good looking people are not rare here and they all end up at the Ban'ka (sauna) which is made of glass and overlooks all pools. I agree that it needs a bit of maintenance, but that is the only reason this place doesn't deserve 5 stars.

Olympic 50 meter pool. Sign a few forms and show your id and medical insurance card and you're ready to go. Locker rooms are for men or women only. Have a capuccino or granola fruit cup afterwards and you're ready for another day in Moscow. Fast swimmers: use the fast middle lane.

Great place to visit in winter as the open air pool is heated. There is also a sauna and an icy plunge pool!
Top location, open swimming pool, too heated. Not too crowded - pricey.
After the initial palaver with form signing, you'll need your passport details to hand, the whole swimming experience was brilliant. It's conveniently located in Moscow City Centre; the outdoor pool is heated to 25 Degrees C and Olympic in size (50 Metres). The whole experience: chatting to staff, getting changed, swimming outdoors was awesome.
The location is great but the structure needs a huge restauration.
