If you eat in only one restaurant in Chachapoyas, go to Candela. The food is beyond delicious and hand-crafted- you can watch them making your meal. Fresh ingredients add to the amazing flavours. We had both pizza and pastas on two different nights. Eating by candlelight at a cosy table . The chefs are artists and cook and serve your meal with warm smiles as if you are old friends. This is by far the best restaurant we have experienced in our three weeks in Peru. Treat yourself and dine at Candela.

Homemade ravioli was delicious! Made fresh
Quaint little restaurant with a Romantic ambiance. Their pizza was delicious and had fresh ingredients. They had lots of interesting pizza topping combinations, many veggie options too. Friendly staff.
They the traditional types but they also the "regional" flavored with "cecina" and slices of plantain Cozy atmosphere, staff super nice.
I can't say enough about this place, so I'll simply say that it IS the best pizza/food you'll have in Chachapoyas. Enjoy!
Pizza was greasy and runny, and the sauce was too salty. It was still edible. The rating is 1 star because when I attempted to pay the bill, the waiter only had 8 soles and suggested I come back later for the 10 soles he owed me! When I insisted, he went out to get more change.
Nice atmosphere. That's what you pay for. At the end the prices or sizes of the pizzas are too expensive i think. But goos taste
Cozy decoration, excellent service, and the pizzas with crispy dough and local ingredients are just delicious! Best dining experience in Chachapoyas!
