A site with an interesting history, excavations are done by volunteers. The guide is very passionate about providing info about the site.

At first look doesn't seem much, but if you take the tour lots more things come to light and realize the huge effort is continually put by volunteers to uncover the rest of this citadel . The lady giving us the tour was awesome, this is how guides should be: passionate, interested and courteous towards guests. Besides great explanations we received lots of tips on what to do in the area. Thank you for an awesome introduction for an otherwise pretty unknown citadel among Histria and Enisala

It's a ruin. They have educational movies which are really cool. Everything's free, pretty well kept and you're free to explore, interesting.

You definitely should talk with the man so is in change there. He is very smart and knows a lot about all the ruins out there. Go! The view is great:)

A ongoing excavation which definitely will take some time to finalize but it's an archeological which makes you travel back in time and imagine how Romans used to live back then. The Thermals and Chapel are preserved with a building around them which helps to protect against the elements. Access is free and I did it on a Monday, without a tour or explanations, but there are boards in both English and Romanian. If you are staying around, make a visit if you like archeological sites.

Nice little fortress, with some banners where you can read all about its history and previous layout.
