Wow this was touching. An amazing place. We've been almost on our own in this huge church. It was heavy.. But in a great way... The size, the silence, the details.. And then you get to see these two wonderful gardens.. Must go

Off the beaten track this is a jewel of Milanese Renaissance architecture. Wonderful guided tour. A must visit if in the area.
A medieval monastery outside Pavia with a museum and shop. Restrooms were clean and parking nearby.
Take advantage of the free tours. If you miss them, visit the store and the monks will be more than happy to share a piece of their story with you
