Impressive service by Central ready mix, friendly company from Birmingham and helpful staff. Central concrete Mix truck arrived promptly at the agreed time, and the concrete was quickly mixed and poured exactly where I needed it and the quantity I needed, no waste with clean job.
Thanks Central ready mix, you guys made the whole process of Concrete mixing and pumping so simple for us what could have otherwise been a complicated job. Would definitely recommend and choose them again in the future.
We ordered 8 cube of screed from central ready mix this was to be wheel barrowed off. When the driver arrived on site there was no labourer which was sent with the driver. Then they said they will not be willing to wait for us to wheel barrow the screed into the site and they wanted to dump it outside and leave, I would understand if it was only 1 cube but on a large quantity this was not acceptable. When ordering we requested for fibre to be added to the mix as we have under floor heating as without fibre we would have came across cracking, the owner was claiming the driver has fibre in the cab however the driver was claiming it was out of stock, this was a real issue as we had a team of 7 ready waiting to level the screed. Even though we had taken off 0.5cube before noticing there was no fibre the mix it self was high sand and very low cement, therefore we refused the load and central ready mix took the load back. We ended up calling another ready mix company namely QSC they arrived within the hour of us calling them. They also sent 1 labourer with the driver for the wheel barrow service and let us decide how much fibre we wanted to have in the mix. When we compared the central ready mix screed we noticed it was purely sand, we also sent WhatsApp images to the owner showing them the poor quality of the central ready mix however they declined to comment and reply back. Overall I found the central ready mix staff rude and not really willing to listen to the customer. I will not be using them again again the product quality was very low.
No Concrete waste and on time, happy to use them again and recommend Central Ready mix from Birmingham.
