Recommended as \the BBQ\ restaurant in Memphis. Casual and delicious. Employees most helpful. More food than we could eat. Not exactly cheap. 43 for two of us for lunch and a beer. Smoked BBQ flavor. Traditional BBQ joint atmosphere.

Ribs are delicious, pulled pork and chicken. On the way back from the Smokey mountains we stopped here for some Memphis BBQ on the way home. We prefer a little more smokey flavor in our meats and my wife enjoyed the potato salad. My surprise was the vinegar sauce and it is far better than what they have in the Carolina's, but sweeter too. It didn't knock out socks off and next time in Memphis we will try someplace else next time.
One of my favorite eateries located in scenic down town Memphis! Food is always delicious and staff is respectfully courteous! For a great Memphis BBQ style food-a-licious experience the entire family will enjoy pay them a visit. You can thank me later.
This place was a go!!! We were visiting from Texas, and stumbled upon Central after a city tour. Ordered Ribs and Wings, and there was no disappointment. It seemed a bit pricey, but was worth it in the end. Seasonings and Spices were dancing on our palette. Give it a try you will not be let down. Memphis , grew on me with this spot!!!
We visited last year - September 2019, and we really enjoyed our experience at Central BBQ! We even went back for more so that we could try the dry and wet ribs, which we couldn't choose between. Everything was delicious. We were allowed to visit the smokers and the staff were very friendly, informative and accommodating for all our photos and questions! Thanks to everyone at Central BBQ!
