I had a chance to dine here last Sunday (03.10.2019). The place was packed but still appeared cozy and warm. Waiters also are friendly and cognizant to every new guest that comes in and made sure a place is available and offered. The menu highlighted with chicken as main dishes and dashed with several pork entrées and mains as well. In spite of the chicken-dominated menu, we went for Crispy Pata, Pansit, Chicken Curry, and Lumpiang Shanghai. Also we went for the rice platter and a pitcher of juice. Crispy Pata: taste met my expectations as every layer of meat is a tate that you'll enjoy. Crispness is achieved and the sawsawan hits the mark. The color is a bit of burnt though, it could've been impressive if it was at neck-to-neck level with the golden-brown presentation of Golden Cowrie (Hukad), and Hukad's serving is larger than Sunburst's. Pansit:The traditional taste, nothing new. Plating-wise, too much garnish as it took away the first look of the noodles at the outset. Lumpiang shanghai (Shanghai Rolls): I love it, that's how a Lumpia is supposed to be. Wrapper is just enough to hold the ground meat inside and when you get to taste it, it meatier and not "wrapper". Chicken curry: Serving size is a plus but taste still is paramount. I can taste more the cornstarch than that of the chicken itself. Also, it lacks that Indian kick where it needs to have considerable amount of either ginger paste or turmeric. Finally, Iced tea is very synthetic- the nestea juice. When eating at places like this, it's always impressive that you get served of the homemade creativity when it comes to beverages. Still, the lemongrass/watermelon juice of Hukad and the Camias juice of Zubuchon have never been surpassed by far. All in all, though my dinning experience is good, but there are still areas for improvement.

If you don't care for the out dated decor, unmaintained C.R . Poor customer service and only for the food then this is the place for you. Nothing special about the fried chicken and serving portion is small.
