Great experience however if you're going to camp in here, make sure to leave no trace and clean as you go. Keep the place healthy in consideration for the next visitors.

A perfect place for someone who wants privacy and solitude. The place offers various picturesque views and partly a Netherlands vibe. You can arrived at the place by riding a motorcycle from Lutupan, Toledo in a minimum fare of 150 to 200 pesos. As you got in the perimeters of Lake Bensis, the only thing you gonna pay is tent space for 50 pesos, no parking fee is required. There are convenient stores around in which you can buy good foods and drinks. The sellers and tenants are very accommodating. The area is open for overnight use as well. Be a responsible traveler. Leave no trace. n.b. expect bumpy road and lack of electricity

We arrived here at around 4PM daghan pa ug tao, almost 5 nahubas ang crowd and then I started to appreciate the peace and quiet. The lake has some enchanting vibe that sets your mind at ease. So peaceful and hayahay kaayo ang pamati because bugnaw ang hangin. Ang makaguol lang is mahugaw ang place due to irresponsible na mga visitors sa lugar and slightly ang walay igo na disposal area basura. All in all, I'd stil rate this 5/5. I've had a good time and was able to relax. Travelers or not, let us all learn to respect the place we visit and the people who live and take care of the area. This is not ours but only borrowed for us to enjoy.

Lake Bensis is open for people who loves to go camping overnight. It is accessible by car through Manipis or from Bonbon if you are coming from Cebu transcentral highway. The lake is somewhat deep where you can't see the bottom. It ia somewhat scary to take a swim. It is advisable that you must be a good swimmer or bring your own life vest if you really are interested to take a dip. The balsas made of bamboo costs 300 pesos. There is an available store also for some basic needs like snacks or coffee.

Nestled in the mountains, about an hour and a half southwest of Cebu City, is beautiful, clean, tranquil... Lake Bensis. Swimming, hiking, overnight camping, are allowed. Best to ask locals along the road to find one of the numerous dirt roads or paths down to the water's edge. You can access Lake Bensis with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. However, it is much easier on 2 wheels. Unlike many similar places, you will not see liter or garbage anywhere in or near Lake Bensis. Please respect and preserve this rare Filipino jewel.
