The staff here know their products well and are very helpful. Today I only called in with a query about a replacement fuse, and they couldn't have been more helpful and sorted what I needed. I've called in before and they have always been very well informed and helpful. Apart from lighting and general electrical they have an amazing range of those hard to find parts.

Bought 8 light fittings. The member of staff who served us was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He listened to what we were looking for, asked the right questions to pin it down a bit, then offered us 3 alternatives, explaining the pros and cons of each without using over-technical language. Strongly recommend CDR on this experience.

Possibly the WORST ever experience you could have! Went into the show room to choose hanging lights! Spent close to 30 minutes going through the order with a member of staff and being told the order would be available to pick up in 2 days! Called after 2 days and there was no recollection of order! After a week received the lights only for them to be wrong! Unapologetic and extremely unhelpful! Please spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

I went into Screwfix next door looking for a specialist switch and they didn't know what I was asking for so I left and went into CDR and they could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable.

Items were delivered to us despite being asked (several times) to be picked up in store. Lost job and not all of order was delivered. Now waiting for a refund. Terrible service. I would avoid ukelectricalsupplies
