Felt in love with the food here!!! Just amazing and quick service. Not a fancy place so is perfect for nice comfortable not too heavy on the wallet dinner out. Very reasonably priced, definitely recomend aubergine for starter and Bun Hue. Definitely will be back very soon. Covid compliant

Ok so if you know nothing about VietNam and want some random generic tasteless pho, don’t go there. But if you have a connection with this amazing country and people, then make your way to this canteen. I entered there asking myself: will this be another fake phõ, or not? I must say it blew me away. This is the real thing! Finally!
Delicious meal at Cay Tre during our visit. First visit here and won’t be the last! The food was tasty and you got plenty for your money. I felt it was good value, we got 2 starters to share, a main and drinks each and it came to 40 including tip. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant isn’t too big and did get busy very quickly, and we arrived a little after they opened on a Thursday evening so got a table with no problem.
Popped in on the way home from the West End. Great Vietnamese food. The Beef carpaccio starter was exception but the Bun Hue was nice and spicy and flavourful. No frills but honest to goodness excellent food.
A friend and I went for dinner here. It was a lovely cosy place. The sittings were a bit too close, especially during this terrible time. Overall, lovely food, and grrat customer service.
