Catterick Garrison is an interesting place to visit and walk around. It is an unusual place in some respects as it does not have a traditional town centre as such. It has an out of town retail shopping outlet as it main shopping area and it has a cinema and Premier Inn hotel that I am staying in tonight (room number 318). Catterick Garrison has alot of army barracks in it and obviously you see army personnel in Catterick Garrison itself. Catterick Garrison is very handy for Catterick racecourse and the small North Yorkshire town of Richmond. I would recommend a visit to Catterick Garrison.
