The staff here are brilliant. The whole adoption process was really easy. 9 year old Mia has been with us for 10 months and has settled into her forever home. Highly recommended.

We addopted two adult cats from this centre in October 2020. Staff were fantastic for the whole process. due to covid the process had to include a video call meeting with the cats and then a contactless delivery.

I have nothing but admiration for the entire staff at Cats Protection. From start to finish, our adoption process was perfect. We walked in Sunday lunchtime and said we were looking to adopt, the lady who greeted us, Tracy, looked just as excited as we were. She helped us select three cats to view that met our specifications (to be cute and cuddly). We had a leisurely one to one with each cat, where Tracy would give us information about the cat, encourage us to play and cuddle each of them. After this she gave us time by ourselves to discuss everything. We decided pretty quickly what cat we wanted. She was reserved for us straight away and an appointment was made to pick her up the following day. Picking our cat up the following day was just an easy experience. All the staff were friendly. Paperwork was done quickly but efficiently and gave me chance to ask questions regarding our new family member. One thing that stood out to me was how much the staff seemed to love their jobs. I was worried going to a rescue place would be depressing but it was far from that. The cats have individual new built pens, which are clean and warm. And staff members often spend their breaks visiting the cats. They even have a groomer who comes by to pamper the cats. I cannot recommend this place enough. Day 2 of Pumpkin being at home, she's settled in so quickly, is incredibly affectionate and took no time to explore and find her spot. I can absolutely say that this behaviour is down to the extraordinary care she received at Cats Protection while waiting to be rehomed. We are all so happy. Thank you!
