Attended a funeral at the cathedral recently. Probably one of the nicest services I have ever attended. The church itself has a very good feeling. The priest who performed the service and who hails from Castlebar has a natural matter of fact human touch, using everyday language which commands attention and makes a difference. The singing by both a girl and a gentleman who also played an electric organ/keyboard was powerful stuff. Really gifted beautiful singing! A sad occasion made special and memorable.

Beautiful place.
This beautiful Cathedral has many happy memories for me as a child I went to Sunday Mass with my Grandma and Grandpa. Also was married at Cathedral 30 years ago! It is still as beautiful as ever!!

Absolute waste of money. Doing up the church and are spending 20,000 on the alter area alone! Yes there is some things that the church would need doing you but the alter there is fine
Its a beautiful church with beautiful statues and windows. Fabulous sound from the organ
Attended lovely 10 am mass great priest .very well attended for Thursday morning .
They take care of the outside and inside of this cathedral. Beautiful building.
