Lovely House in great condition. Great architecture in the building fronting and the grounds are fantastic. You have longs walks along the river Liffey, the temple, the old ruin, the lake, the streams with there falls, and the area to the left hand side is a wonder of streams, moss covered trees, cascades of water and stone bridges, it a wonderland for photographers. Really you need to see it for yourself to really appreciate just how wonderful amenity to have on your doorstep
A great place to explore, quite refreshing and a good walk, highly recommended
A truly wonderful resource. Accessible from Celbridge village via public transport/on foot. Plenty of car parking. Wheelchair accessible. Toilets, cafe and of course acres of green space. Ducks, trees and lots of happy people.
Lovely place for a walk. The house is closed (due to leavel 5 lockdown but also because it's now out of season.) The café is open for take away coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc. They had some sweets and cakes and a specials board which mentioned hot sandwiches, chips etc.
It is a lovely old house but could do with a bit more furniture to fill the space. But the lady that works there was able to tell us about items, clothes and hair from the period the house was lived in.
Beautiful Place with beautiful views A little crowded on weekends but worth the visit!
I work here and its ground are beautiful. People come here from all over for walks. The cafe is amazing.
