Group of us ate here, here's our verdict. Soft soggy chips, and supposedly the is salt on vinegar on them, but no there is not. Fish pretty good except super oily. Veggie burger was gross, and only a tiny piece of lettuce?! Ham burgers were \ok\. Mushrooms were good! Lunch didn't get finished. Wouldn't eat here again.

Delicious fish an chips, everything you want crispy crispy and the mushy peas were actually green an not grey! Perfect for last meal in UK before leaving to travel Europe! Also, I dropped my bank card in the shop, they found me on Facebook using name on card to let me know! Top service, lovely bunch of folk!.. On another not you can take their take away to the White Horse pub just round the corner on Wednesday! So pick up a delicious chippy an pop round corner for a jar. Tick tick. Thanks again to everyone at castle take away, absolute life savers on the bank card! Amazing detective work by your team of Angels!

Clean, tasty food and very friendly staff. We visited this fish and chips shop whilst in Dover. The staff greeted us and we felt very welcomed. The fish menu is quite well and we ended up being recommended the cod. We had a large cod and chips and a battered sausage and chips. The fish and battered sausage was really tasty. We would recommend this place to everyone. The chips could be improved but in general was a really good experience.
