Really enjoyed visiting visiting these Castle ruins - still quite a fair amount left compared to a lot of other ruins. Has info boards with the history of the castle beautiful ocean views. Some parts you can’t access, I hope they do eventually complete the restoration of the full ruins.

Lovely drive to get to the castle. Nice walk up to the castle. The views are stunning. Information on the castle and history are interesting.
Fascinating place with plenty of information boards on the history and great pictures of what it once looked like. Furthermore you will find information on the local wildlife on land and below the water. Be careful with your wee ones as there are some dangerous drops along the coast and castle area, the fencing along the coast won't contain the more curious of children but does better within the castle grounds.
We loved this place, there is so much to explore and plenty of information and free parking. Loads of history here 100% recommend
Fascinating to see. Definitely recommend. The road to it is never ending but stick with it, you'll get there. After car park it's a short walk down to the Castle
