It is a very small fish and chips shop. It seem to be a more familiar place. Dont expect luxury furniture here. The prices are fair for around 8 and the taste is very good. The fish was made fresh in front of us and this show that this shop is not selling you any fish which stands since some days. You can have a seat inside and enjoy your fish and chips. The staff was very friendly and the location is wonderful. I guess its the only fish and chips store at the grass Market. I would recommend everyone to come here and after that you can visit one the pubs around the place. It was definitely one of the best fish and chips I had in Edinburgh

Really friendly staff and the best fish and chips I've had in ages. Lovely thick white haddock in a thin crispy batter. Not stodgy like many I have had.
A convenient place along Grassmarket that advertises late hours. We visited in the evening. It took about 5 minutes for them to heat up a big piece of fish. That tasted fine. Unfortunately, the chips were mushy, like they’d been sitting in a warmer for hours. Not a place we’d visit again.
I didn't try them all, but this shop definately has the best fish and chips in town. Big sizes and incredibly tasty. Also, super nice owners.
The chicken pakoras were really good, the chips were great too. I got a hot chocolate, but they didn't look very happy that is ordered it, it was too much trouble obviously. Edinburgh chippy sauce isn't what I expected
