Today I went to Castle Place Butchers for the first time to buy sausages for mine and my son's dinner; we absolutely weren't disappointed! We bought fresh pork and garlic sausages. They looked lovely, and were reasonably priced. The gent was friendly and chatty and he packed the sausages in parchment paper for me and offered me a reusable plastic tub (I'm trying to reduce our disposable plastic use). Having got home and now eaten said sausages, they were absolutely delicious! Over all a great service and although we don't eat a lot of meat, we will definitely be buying from Castle Place Butchers in the future. Thank you!
Exceptional family run business.
We've been using Castle Place Butchers for a few weeks now and cannot fault the place. We've had all sorts of meat from him, all of which have been superb quality but the sausages and burgers that we had for a BBQ last weekend were just outstanding. I've said it elsewhere but you may pay a bit more than in the supermarket (although I doubt it) the quality, advice and service is second to none. Just what local businesses are about!
Fantastic meat all of the time, have used for years and best in the area.
