Fresh and delicious in a cozy setting. Had the Snowdonia mushroom stroganoff. So yummy!! Excellent service. Highly recommend
A great pub! (i could endogenous review there but I won't!) The service was pretty much faultless and friendly. The selection of drinks includes all the obvious stuff you'd expect any pub to have but also some good local stuff. The thing that meant we went here twice during our short stay in the area was the food. It is regular pub grub done extremely well and offers great value. Most dishes are on the 9 to 10 region. There is a lot of locally sourced produce which I really like to see. The Castle burger is HUGE and comes with 5 onion rings (possibly the nicest I've ever had!). The veggie burger also deserves a mention too... delicious! Highly recommend if you are in the area
Lovely meals with absolutely huge portions. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pub has outside seating area and is dog friendly.
Standard pub fare, in generous portions (chips good) but generally moderately executed. Not the smartest surroundings, but service friendly and dogs welcomed (even got a doggy bag for the leftovers).
