Called in after a morning visit to the Castle, menu the specials board. Very polite and helpful staff. Four of us had different meals all very good. Seating inside or out in court yard, would visit again.
We had lunch here last week. It is a very popular place and the food is freshly cooked so there is a small delay in the meals arriving, but well worth the wait. My granddaughter has a dairy allergy but a quick chat with the very friendly staff soon found her something tasty. I had the steak and kidney pudding and can say it is one of the best I have ever had. I just wished I'd had room for one of the very attractive-looking puddings. All at a very reasonable price.
Great friendly staff, woman serving us was very chatty and made jokes with us. Very comfortable place, I have ceoliac disease and they gave me a list of foods which I can eat. The chips are cooked in a separate fryer. They had the following gluten free options: soup, cake bar, chips and baked potato and had gluten free bread.
It was superb will definitely be back the next time we visit dunster
