Third time purchasing trees from Ashridge. Bush Plum as with previous trees superb quality and size. Yes, well wrapped and protected for transport but thought it appropriate to prevent damage. Only hint of criticism was delay from order being placed and delivery and felt Customer Service could have taken steps to advise customer, hence 4/5 stars. But would purchase again from this company and recommend.

I have had several orders from them and they always provide a good service. Plants are always of excellent quality. Don't expect a fast delivery as it can take them a month. But the product is always worth waiting for

Have ordered a variety of hedging plants. Kept fully informed on plan for delivery. Accomodated a change of hedging as requested by myself without any drama. Delivered on time. All good healthy plants. Yew look fantastic.

Told 8 weeks after ordering that items not available. Trees and hedging turned up a month after the estimate. When it arrived the hedging and trees seem good. This seems to be typical of the nursery industry.

I ordered sweet peas and Cosmos seedlings at the start of April. Got an email a month later saying that they'd had a problem with my sweet pea seedlings and they would have to sow more / would be delayed. But the rest of my order was fine. Fast forward a month later and another email saying that they are unable to fulfil my sweet pea order at all. These were for a client and had I known Ashridge couldn't have supplied them I would have sourced them somewhere else. Still no sign of my Cosmos 2 months after order placed. Finally 3 months after placing my order they turn up today. I have never even seen such pathetic seedlings - they were advertised as Maxi Plugs, these look like they've been sown in the last 2 or 3 weeks, so fragile and tiny with barely any of their true leaves or roots. Not ready to go out in the garden, will need grown on for a few weeks yet. Really disappointing. I appreciate the situation with Covid19 has made life tricky for plant nurseries but I've ordered loads of perennials & annuals from other nurseries and had much better quality / service. They must have only sown my Cosmos around 8-10 weeks after me placing the order which I think is really poor. Laughingly I received a Newsletter email telling me they now have Sweetpea seedlings for sale. And another yesterday with a voucher for 5 to spend by the end of 2020. Can't imagine me shopping here ever again.
