I cannot tell you how great this place is. Always freshly cooked, delicious meal every time. Over generous portions. They give you a free cone of chips while waiting. Family run, they are delightfully friendly and welcoming.

The best fish and chips in South London bar none. They just recently refurbished the place after maintaining the same interior since 1963 and it's simply stunning. You cannot go wrong here. A true gem within Croydon.
Was going to go in... Glad I didn't. No provision for social distancing. No screens to protect staff and customers alike. No face mask worn by one member of staff, and incorrect mask discipline from the other. No card machine, it was apparently broken according to a sheet of paper on the counter. As we're in the middle of a pandemic, I didn't feel safe.
Great quality of food and large portions, excellent service and went above and beyond to make sure my order was correct. Best Fish and Chips in Croydon for sure!
Awesome local chippy. Family run and very friendly and helpful staff. Ordered medium cod and large portion of chips. Portions are generous, the chips are proper \fish and chip\ style. Fish was excellent, batter is thin and crispy. Staff change the oil each day. Quality of the food is great and would recommend
