We love Casa Maria! Street Tacos and Street Burrito are the best you will find off Cherokee Street. All the rest of the options are solid- the salsa is good but we usually like to ask for some of their extra hot to add to the regular- (we like super spicy).

haven’t been in MONTHS since I moved & I miss it SO MUCH! some of the best Mexican food i’ve had in the area. from the tacos to the actual dishes they have. they have a dish that is chicken w/cheese, rice & green sauce... AMAZING!!!! I can’t wait to visit home just to come here. the photo is via a video so it’s not the best, but the good is GOOD in taste and price.
First time eating here. My coworker wouldn't stop talking about how great it was after I told him that I like Chevy's in Olivet MO. I had the Maria changa with carnitas meat inside and let me tell you it was absolutely fantastic. Tons of flavor just perfect! I will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.
My family (spouse and kids) ordered dinner from here for the first time last month, during COVID. It was to go because dining in was not allowed. I am very picking about Mexican cuisine and this meal was fantastic! Not only was the taste, temperature, and customer service wonderful, but I will like to make note that portion sizes and condiments were “a breath of fresh air” compared to other restaurants to go portions. No one wanted to share their food:). We can’t wait to go back!! Thank you, Casa Maria!!
We grab carry out from Casa Maria the other day. We did not think to order ahead so we walked in and placed our order and waited in our car. They brought our food out to us in our car even though it was freezing outside. When we got the food home, it was delicious as usual! There was something a bit off with the margaritas, but we added tequila and they were great. I don’t usually have any problem with the margaritas when we are in the restaurant, so I will chalk this up to a carry out issue. Though I miss dining in, will definitely carry out again.
