Traditional pub, real fire, great food, nice ales. Even though it's off the beaten track, worth visiting.

Outstanding food and first class service. We’d highly recommend the beef medallions, the signature pie and the sticky toffee pudding. You won’t be disappointed. Very well organised in this COVID world we find ourselves in.
Outstanding pub with tasty food and excellent service. Can’t believe it’s our first visit here, can’t wait to visit again. Recommend the signature pie, good quality beef and gravy was delicious.
Absolutely nothing to fault. The food was delicious, bog pie and lamb shank (best ever!). Service was very pleasant and welcoming from all three of the staff we encountered. Portion size was spot on. Just great and the bill was completely reasonable for the quality.
Cart Big Inn, their chicken Sunday roast and big pie are amazing! Worth the journey up from Birmingham just to eat here!
