Cartmel Village Shop do so much more than just sticky toffee pudding, if you're a fan of puddings, you must check them out; their sticky toffee ginger pudding is amazing! Customer service is fantastic: A recent order included a small picnic basket that had a broken strap. I emailed to report the problem and Jo resolved this swiftly by sending a new basket, whilst keeping me updated with the progress. Tip: To help reduce postage costs, you could order for you and your family/friends and split the postage.

Delicious quiche, sandwiches and salads. Finished with their famous sticky toffee pudding which were also delicious (we tried the original and chocolate versions and bought the ginger one to take home). Service is relaxed. Upstairs cafe can get a bit busy but everything seems available for take away. Definitely recommend if in the area.

Absolutely fabulous village. The cafe upstairs is so lovely. Slightly squiff floors make it unique. The couple who served us were really nice. Helpful and pleasant. The sticky toffee pudding, well! What can I say, gorgeous. With whipped real double cream or ice cream. A must have.

Cannot go to the lake district without going here, amazing sticky toffee puddings, and others, and lots of other things in here too, you'd be mad to go home without visiting.
