Tucked away in a business district in Basel lies this stylish Mexican restaurant. Easily accessed via Aeschenplatz. All plates are well portioned, so you might want to share a few. The ceviche maya is moist, tender and succulent. Sit outside, order a cocktail (preferably with tequila or mezcal) and pick a Taco. Ordering a small appetizer is recommended as service is a little slow. Also order your main at the same time so as not to add extra time. Check the daily special for some fish. Burritos salpicon and playa were sizeable and come with a small salad. Order a side of homemade guacamole. Delicious! Unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert. But to be honest, not where I want to spend my extra calories. Bring friends share a lot! Cheers!

Tasty Mexican food with properly spicy salsa but they recently changed the format of their menu to be more mix and match, which feels too Chipotle for me. Margaritas are good and they have a nice selection of tequila and mescal. As is the case pretty much everywhere in Basel/Switzerland, the prices take a lot of getting used to if you're from the States or Latin America, where this cuisine is both tastier and 25% of the price.
Fantastic place. Great Mexican food and the service is just amazing. Portions are big so order accordingly. Fish tacos & fresh guacamole are delicious. Reservation is a must.
The food is of very good quality and served in nice portions very quickly; Max served us and was altogether very friendly and knowledgeable. Add to this that they serve Kitchen Brew on tap (local micro brewery) and the prices are reasonable (all things considered of course). Certainly a great place for returns!
We we're a bit early, but had some nice drinks till the kitchen opened. Than we had a fantastic dinner wich was very filling. Plus best table service.

The most authentic Mexican food I have tasted in Basel so far. Great tacos, and an interesting selection of Mexican drinks. Very friendly service as well! Will definitely come again!
At least since the closure of La Piratita, this seems to be the only option for good Mexican food in the centre of Basel. I had very nice tacos (especially the vegetarian ones), fresh guacamole and good drinks. It gets busy especially on weekend evenings, so I recommend making a reservation.
