I had been using carteks for a number of years with no issues at all. In fact a very good service. I then suffered a flat battery and the AA advised it could be a dead battery or alternator issue. I changed the battery for a new one but it didn't help, so I took the car to Carteks and they said the alternator was dead and wasn't sending any current to the battery and that I needed a new one. I agreed to have the alternator changed yet the problem still existed and the battery wasn't charging. I took the car back and they then told me that it needs a software upgrade to resolve the issue. I had this done at the main dealer and now the issue has been resolved. The outcome is that I didn't need a new alternator at all. I was advised by Carteks that they had plugged the car in and checked it, yet they obviously didn't otherwise it would have been seen as a software upgrade needed and I could have got this done before even thinking about changing the alternator. I emailed Carteks twice asking for them to remove the new alternator and put the old one back in and refund me the 442 paid, yet still no reply after a few weeks. Unfortunately; won't be using Carteks again, which is a shame because they were good but after this, I feel really let down.

Great service, friendly staf, fitted a new clutch great price and got me in very quickly. Would recommend.

called to say needed new headlight bulbs and they said come in today and we will replace and fit for a very reasonable cost, very quick service and booked my other car in for mot and its booked in within 48 hours
