We were "VIP" guests of F&M Bank and were treated to a lovely afternoon at the polo field. We got to watch a practice match while someone narrated the game and answered questions, got a tour of the horse stables and learned about the horses and their diet, had a nice lunch and watched the match. Thanks to our hosts!

I just want to thank Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club for hosting today's First Annual Santa Barbara Country Music Festival! I hope it was successful for all involved, that the local community was only positively affected, and that it would be allowed again! We appreciated it! Thank you!

I was in Santa Barbara visiting from Nebraska, and wanted to do something I've never done before. Found Sunday polo on a "What to do in Santa Barbara" website. The tickets for grandstand seating were extremely reasonable (15), the parking was easy, the staff warm and inviting. Brought my entire family, including my wheelchair-bound mother, whom they made special accommodations for (just call ahead and let them know). Get into the spirit of the sport and dress up: "casual nice" (sun dress for ladies, khaki pants and nice shirt for men), and definitely wear a hat (both ladies and men)! When we checked in, Meredith, the wonderful woman at the ticket counter, encouraged us to walk around, visit the clubhouse, showed us where we'd be sitting, and explained where not to be during the match for safety reasons. Don't be afraid to ask questions! Polo is a fun sport for everyone. It's like hockey on horses with a gorgeous mountain as a backdrop! We didn't have any kids with our group, but there were plenty in attendance, all having a great time. Highly recommend.

My friend and I took 10 lessons from coach. He is very thoughtful in each of his lesson and really focus on improving our techniques. Coach will also cater to our needs and playing styles and change up the lessons for us to increase the variety. Highly recommended!
