Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, proper pub food, big portions at a good price. Definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed this pub/restaurant. They are meticulous regarding cleanliness and social distancing. We ordered within a few minutes, which on a Saturday was unexpected. The menu was quite extensive and met our needs easily. The food was well presented, well cooked and had large portions. The staff were very helpful, very polite and really hard working. I would recommend this establishment for a great place to eat. As usual book in advance because it gets busy.

Although previously one of my favourites in area, last two visits have been dissatisfied the food is not up to the standard I have come to expect. This visit on 23/9 /20 wife had chicken curry said it was dry I had chicken with Stilton sauce which had separated. The dessert was marginally better, wife had lemon cheesecake and texture was thick, I had sticky toffee pudding wasn’t to bad. Can’t recommend at this time, they need to do better .

We were in kings Lynn on a small break and drove past, phoned to book and we were so glad we did. the food was outstanding, I had the steak and ale pie, Mrs and daughter had turkey dinners and toddler had a small turkey dinner. my only regret was having a big starter, the starter was great, beef chilli nachos, but I wish I had more room for the pie, meat was so tasty and melted in the mouth in a rich and smooth ale gravy. the chips were cooked perfectly, soft and fluffy middle and crispy on the outside. I could go on the same about Sunday dinners too. We managed to squeeze in a piece of chocolate brownie which my Mrs and toddler shared, big thumbs up. just wish we lived closer to visit again. very happy with whole experience, staff were kind and welcoming and we were served quickly which is great for anyone with a toddler

Average place to eat with average tasting food. Nacho starter had some nacho chips but most were smashed and once you get into middle there's nothing left but mince and grease but tasted nice. Large gammon steak which was average tasting pub food nothing wrong. Was bombarded by fly's and had a some nasty comments off of another customer when not following arrows correctly. Staff seemed friendly and menu was small no doubt to the current situation but price wise / what there was to offer I recommend going down the road to Middleton's otherwise I nor disprove or recommend here it's just a place that you stop off and get food if you want pub food
