Best place in the Ottawa area to buy retro and current video games/consoles. The staff is amazing. As a collector, TND Video Games is always one of my go to place.

Really complete retro gaming store, covering most console generations with a large selection of games to browse. Nintendo and PlayStation games do cover most of the walls, but there is a very good number of games for the Genesis, Master System, Xbox and other consoles, including a stash of Game Gear lose cartridges. PlayStation Vita selection is thin, on the other hand. Price is good, both for rare and common games, a bit lower than eBay, which is very nice. While buying games I asked to open a Genesis Castlevania to check the board, and the staff was happy to do it, which is great for collectors who want to make sure where they put their money. Two warnings: the store only opens on Sunday, and it only accepts cash - but there's an ATM very close to the store, so it's not a deal breaker. This has just become my mandatory stop when visiting Ottawa.

Staff shoveling a sandwich in his mouth in front of me, couldn't put down the sandwich to even say hello, very awkward. Second guy in the corner shelving stock again didn't even get acknowledged. I didn't know where anything was so I clumsily looked arround, still nothing from staff. Seriously terrible experience, over priced games, eBay pricing. I bought two games, one didn't work when I got home. I'm never going back. Edit- WOW take a look below at what I'm going to assume is the owners aggressive response, seriously steer clear of this place! V V V V V V V V V

Super-friendly staff, fair pricing both for buying and selling. Crazy-good retro selection. Bear in mind that it’s in a flea market so unless you visit their outdoor booth you’ll be in for a pretty non-social-distancing experience.
