I was trying to fabricate a small metal platform but realized it required spot welding to make it stable. I asked Precise Metafab if they could help. Without hesitation they took on the project. It turned out great. The people who work at Precise are very friendly and professional. Highly recommend this company.

My Uncle lives in Ottawa, but he is not tech savy, so I offered to share his experience with Precise Metafab. My uncle was researching a metal repair for a very rare brass plate that broke on an old studio camera, that was used in a famous Ottawa area portrait studio. He tried jewelers and welding shops, but nobody would either bother with such an odd request or could they figure out how to do the needed repair in their business. Precise Metafab heard the nature of the project and 20 minutes later, they provided my uncle with the repaired brass plate. It fit back into the camera. They only charged him 20 to do the work, but more important, they listened to him and treated him with dignity. He could not say enough good things about this company. Attached is a picture of the repaired camera. You don't even see the repair weld. On behalf of my uncle, he highly recommends them.
These guys were great. Unlike every other metal shop in town, they didn't say they were too busy, even though I'm sure they were. They said \Come on in!\ so I did. Their work was precise and quick, and their rates were very reasonable. I'd asked them to cut some aluminum sheets into long pieces, which was a hassle for them, I'm sure, but they said \No problem\ and had it finished in an hour. I'll definitely be going back there with all my aluminum, and anything else I need done with metals.
Awhile back I needed a custom frame build for a recumbent trike, so I took my project to Precise for assistance. Kevin and the people there were extremely helpful, Topnotch! With just a few sketches and a bit of explanation they were able to pull off a perfect job to my complete satisfactory. I would recommend this company to anyone. Kudos!
