I started at MNB about a year and a half ago. Having never flown a plane before, I have since gotten my Private Pilot's License, Night Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, and my Multi-IFR. I could not have done this without the help from the experienced instructors MNB Aviation has to offer. When I first spoke to Mark (the owner) back when the school had only one airplane , he told me his goal was to run a flight school that made flying fun again. After my time at MNB, I can certainly say he has accomplished this goal. The instructors will make your lessons fun, while ensuring your skills are well developed. From three instructors and one plane, to eight instructors and five planes, I have seen the school grow on a daily basis and wish nothing but further success. The best ftu in Ottawa. There isn’t much to compare mnb to as the service they provide is second to none in the NCR. Their professional instructors aren’t in it just for the hours in their logbooks which is noticeable. The instructors there will go above and beyond in order to cater to your specific learning style. bonus the practice area is only 4 miles from the airport meaning no time wasted
Best school in Ottawa hands down! Amazing staff that are knowledgeable and friendly. They have top notch instructors who will get you through your training in a timely fashion and will ensure you are the safest and best pilot you can be! I have flown with every instructor at this school and I can’t say anything bad about any of them. They all tuned their teaching style to match my personal learning style. I would definitely recommend this school to any one in Ottawa who wants to become a pilot or who is interested in seeing what it’s like to see the earth from above.
Currently fly here and I love it, everyone is so friendly. All instructors, and owners Make you feel like you’re part of the family. Would recommend flying here to anyone!
