I collaborated with Grey loft studio to help me produce content for my Instagram channel. I had so much fun working with Bethany, she is absolute pleasure to work with. Bethany & Luc are awesome! We first met at the Wedding Show in 2019 and decided to book an engagement session shortly there after. The weather ended up changing quickly that day and it became overcast and rainy. I had already had my hair and makeup done so we decided to go forward. Bethany's positivity and kindness made us feel super comfortable and it felt like we known her for years. We booked the video portion of our engagement session and Bethany and Luc surprised us by taking more photos alongside with video. Loved the photos(x2) and video and cannot wait for our wedding later this year. Highly Recommend.
Bethany was our wedding photographer, and she was just fantastic! Our portraits turned out beautifully, and she was so professional and organized from our first (virtual) meeting through to sending our files. We also had her husband Luc (Grey Loft Video) as our videographer. He was similarly amazing, and crazy efficient -- he edited and shared a teaser video within hours (HOURS!) of our wedding. The two of them really are a dream team. They're fun to be around, and work together seamlessly. Highly recommend!
*I cannot speak to the quality of products, just my experience in the preliminary phase of discussion/contract* I was looking for a wedding photographer for a wedding out of the city, a bit far. I liked the style of photos and the pictures they had up on their website so I reached out. We are having an unconventional wedding so we did not want a typical coverage schedule, we had a detailed zoom call and were happy with how it went. However, when we received the contract it was not at all reflective of that conversation. We had expressed the need for coverage of our wedding reception, specifically speeches, but in the contract it had stated that there would be no coverage for the reception. I was willing to move around the hours and schedule to make it work, but grey loft was not willing to, citing loss business on the Sunday. I understand where they are coming from in this sense and none of this would have been an issue if there was transparency in the initial call, or even in communication when we received the contract. But finding this out by carefully reading the contract was deeply upsetting and unprofessional, especially as we were eager to commit. I would caution people to read the contracts closely and inquire about every question they have, for us that transparency and communication just was not there and had I not caught that before signing the contract, I would have been missing out on the coverage of half of my wedding.
