First time here. Just a tad too early this morning for the biscuits. But we still had other choices and the service was great. The omelet was really tasty. Hashbrowns crispy on one side and softer on the other side. She has the eggs sausage Hashbrowns with a pancake instead of toast or biscuit. Every thing was hot and fresh. And the pancake was really good. We definitely will be back.
We had left Texas for 11 years and we're extremely happy Caroline's Cafe not only still there, but better than ever. Home cooking her breakfast and lunch.
This was my first time trying it. Very good. Good variety of items. Food was very tasty. Service was good. prices were comparable to fast foods with more food and better atmosphere. Will eat there again for both breakfast and lunch.
The only reason this cafe is in business is the lack of anything else available in the am. We've lived in Midlothian almost our whole lives and this place has always had mediocre food at best and if you're not of the over 60 crowd you are ignored. You do not feel welcome. You're treated as an inconvenience. I'm finally sick of this kind of treatment and feel Caroline's should be more aware and younger families who buy more than just coffee should be aware too. Not worth the disappointment!
