The site is free to enter. There is a car park near the site. It is a short walk from the car park to the site. The postcode TR20 8RB gets you directly to the car park down a number of narrow lanes. The site is worth a visit as it is one of the best-preserved iron age ancient villages. From visiting the site you have a clear picture of how people use to live.

An excellent example of an ancient village from the iron age to the Roman-Britian age. There are a few parking spaces opposite the farm, which is clearly marked. There are two routes for walking to the village, which are detailed on the sign board, along with way points en route. One route is shorter, but does involve crossing a field that may at times have cattle. Neither route was arduous or long. The village itself is quite excellent to see, I would recommend.

Down the end of a long winding narrow lane is a small neat carpark. A short walk away are the intriguing remains of an ancient settlement. And within these remains is a stone tunnel and a 'bunker'. A number of information panels explains how the place was arranged. (Beware with small children of a number of steep drops). Tucked out the way but very intresting and worth a detour for an hour or so.

Wow! What an amazing place, well done to Cornwall Heritage Trust for preserving this village from the iron age. Just a short walk from the very small car park. In fact you can walk one way & come back another. Information boards gives us a look into what was here all those years ago. The tunnels, stone walls & the circular imprints are so fascinating. Highly recommended.

A great little gem, off the beaten track, to explore by onesself and even better with the kids (younger ones will love crawling through the settlement foundations). Definitely worth a look when down this far in Kernow
