Great walk with wonderful views of the River and fields where deer and birds are visible. Great sunset! Also open areas for children to run and play ball, as well as a playground.

It may very well be Carmel's nature crown jewel . Paved trails, playground, gravel garden trails, trails in the woods too along White River, kayak, canoe drop zone. Football field. Baseball diamond. Can truly spend an entire day here. And although outside of park hours, stargazing is pretty awesome here too.
Was a great little find when visiting the Northside spent a little extra time there after we found the play ground.
The daughter loved playing in the sand and hunting for dinosaur bones. For taking your kid to play at, it's fairly dilapidated and bare bones (that's the theme too!) but at least it's unique.
Peaceful, serene hiking facility and offering 3 levels - easy to medium difficulty - edging the river and going over a stream. There is also a paved path, in addition. Beautiful wild flowers along the path enhances the activity.
