Carlotta is one of the best pizza places of La Rochelle ! The excellent thin crust is what makes it for me. Plus the location is ideal, in an old historical street of La Rochelle, or if you decide to do take away it's a 2 minute walk from both the old harbor or a beach. I highly recommend this place !

Ordered takeaway pizza as during covid restrictions. Good quality base and ingredients, but sadly all three pizzas in order undercooked. Still probably one of most authentic neopolitan style pizzas in France but a little disappointed.
This establishment evidently treats treats some customers like dirt. After calling in advance to book a table we were told \we do not take reservations\. Upon arrival we were \greeted\ by this awful, cocky manager who insisted on only seating us besides the boiling hot ovens. When inquiring why we can't sit somewhere else we were told the other tables were eserved\. When seeking clarification as to why we were told earlier that they don't take reservations, the manager responded \c'est comme ça\. Perhaps they simply couldn't be bothered with serving a family with young kids and don't care less about customer service because they are assured of a constant flow of tourist clientele.
