We did a Carlingford medieval town tour with Gerry. It was a very enjoyable and informative tour. We learnt about the Anglo Norman's coming to Ireland, and taking over Carlingford, among other irish towns. Gerry was able to create the atmosphere of the time for us, as we poked around in the ruins of the castle and vast priory. It was the highlight to our break in Carlingford. We also learnt about the ancient toll gate the jail, and mint. You can too when you visit Carlingford!

We had the tour of Carlingford heritage & history with Jerry on 15th July 2020 , it was great & Jerry was very knowledgeable & informative , would highly recommend this when in the Carlingford area James & Meta Johnston Bangor Co Down.
We were at the beautiful Carlingford Heritage Centre to setup our lovely client wedding. We met very friendly and helpful staff.
A very interesting place, with information about the history of the old buildings around the town. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

A fantastic place to absorb the towns heritage. Lot of history going back to the 12th century. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely place to find out about the history of Carlingford. Best place to start as a tourist. Also great venue for weddings and concerts
