Attended Carleton Place Comiccon today. Great time. Lot's of friendly people!
Loved the hockey rink. Great for figure skating too. Nice canteen where you can buy a lunch or snack. Friendly service at all levels of the Arena. We will return for all of these reasons. Beautiful ice hockey rink and huge Hall upstairs that is available to rent for any Special Occassion. Elevators are available if people cannot take the stairs.
Great kids skating.. awesome time watching my family skate
Went to model railroad meet. (MVAR.ca) One of the members elbowed my 4-8-4 off the chair where it was resting awaiting a turn to operate. The member said he would make it good, but it seems after speaking to another member away from the room, he will not make good on his promise. He doesn't acknowledge my e-mails. Very closed group not willing to progress or follow standards.
